The Seiko Prospex SRPC25J1 Save the Ocean combines one of Seiko’s most recognizable dive-watch designs with a spectacular ocean-inspired blue dial.

Part of Seiko’s celebrated “Save the Ocean” collection, the SRPC25J1 features a deep blue sunburst dial that shifts dramatically with the light, ranging from almost black at the edges to brilliant electric blue toward the center. Oversized LumiBrite hour markers and Seiko’s unmistakable diver hands provide excellent visibility, while the black-and-blue rotating bezel completes the aquatic look.

The watch uses Seiko’s legendary Turtle-style cushion case, a design descended from the professional Seiko divers of the 1970s. Despite its substantial presence, the rounded case profile and short lugs make the Turtle remarkably comfortable on the wrist.

Inside is Seiko’s automatic 4R36 movement, offering both manual winding and hacking seconds, along with a practical day-date display at 3 o’clock. As the J1 version, this example is marked “Made in Japan” on the dial.
