Islander x Carl Murawski Limited Edition ISL-340 – Denim Blue Automatic – 1 of 100

The Islander x Carl Murawski ISL-340 is a genuinely scarce collaboration created around the idea of a watch “built for people who build things.” Designed with longtime tradesman and content creator Carl Murawski, production is limited to only 100 individually serialized pieces, making this one of the more exclusive Islander releases. The centerpiece is its distinctive deep denim-blue textured dial, designed to evoke the woven fabric of traditional workwear. Bold Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 give the watch excellent tool-watch legibility, while Carl Murawski’s signature appears directly on the dial alongside the “328 ft Automatic” designation. The hands and hour markers are treated with C3 Super-LumiNova for strong low-light visibility, while the bezel pip uses contrasting BGW9 lume. Surrounding the dial is a rugged 120-click unidirectional coin-edge bezel fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire insert. (Long Island Watch)

Power comes from the proven Seiko/TMI NH35 automatic movement, offering automatic winding, manual winding and hacking seconds. The movement can be viewed through the sapphire window incorporated into the stainless-steel screw-down caseback, which is also individually serialized to identify each watch within the 100-piece production run. The stainless-steel case measures 41.7mm in diameter, 13.8mm thick and 51.4mm lug-to-lug. A particularly cool design detail is the 6.6mm hexagonal screw-down crown, intentionally shaped to echo the nuts and bolts associated with the skilled trades. (Long Island Watch)
